Faculty Advisor

Welcome to the # 1 student organization on the UNC campus! If you love sports and desire a career in the sport industry, you have found the right organization and team of dedicated leaders. I am the Director of Sport Entrepreneurship and faculty member at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. My background includes teaching sport administration courses, academic advising, and the internship coordinator for the EXSS department. I teach courses such as Business of Sport, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Economics/Finance, and Introduction to Sport Administration. I am a business owner and spent over 17 years in the financial services industry. I played hoops for UVA and was a Tar Heel assistant coach for the 1984 ACC champions! I stay active playing golf, basketball, and biking. I enjoy researching Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Social Issues in Sport. I made mistakes in my career and have also had great success. I hope to give you real practical advice from the lessons that I learned so that you can achieve your dreams! In addition, I want you to have a great college experience – exploring new ideas and subjects, engaging with others, and empowering yourself!

The Club is your place for “Collaboration and Connections.”  Regardless of your academic major, we think critically, analyze the details, consider all perspectives, reflect, and evaluate happenings in the multi-billion dollar sport world. We also create and host activities that support your sport career path.  We seek energetic, innovative, and determined students to keep our Club great. Get involved — join us!
