Welcome to the Carolina Sport Business Club. Membership is open for all UNC students (regardless of academic major/year) interested in careers in the sport industry. Across all levels of sport organization and sectors of this field – The CSBC provides access to industry alumni & like-minded peers, networking & experience opportunities and career resources for our members. We host/connect with these prominent sports figures & successful alumni to provide relevant career opportunities and meaningful insights, unique to the CSBC. Dr. Deborah Stroman, our faculty advisor, is a Leadership and Health EQUITY professor at the Gillings School of Public Health, with extensive sports-industry involvement and educational leadership over the years, serving as a Co-founder of the Center of Sport Business and Analytics(Basketball Analytics Summit) Education Director of the Odum Institute(Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Research Program), and KFBS professor of Leadership, Business (Entrepreneurship and Sport) & Racial Equity. All members have special access to information, events, and services unique to CSBC through our Website, GroupMe, Sakai Page, HeelLife, Instagram and LinkedIn platforms.
